Imagine, if you could even think of the horrific situation, where a 20 year old "pretty white woman" was abducted by six black men and women, raped, stabbed, made to eat rat droppings, drink from a toilet, threatened with death if she tried to escape and tortured for around a week.Imagine, not only what living hell that poor woman went through, but also the fact that she was still undergoing treatment for her injuries around a month later. Imagine the 24 hour outrage on the cable news, the papers, every caring human being, not to mention the outrage by the racist people who would be decrying this, "the culture that promotes animals like this", how this was a hate crime and the potential revenge for these horrific acts.
Imagine that the suspects all had prior arrests and records for prior crimes, including one who was arrested for murder of an 84 year old woman but pled to a lesser charge of manslaughter. We would hear about this for months, and we would all know her name, the suspects names, backgrounds and every little development in her treatment, the case and the potential blowback to the community....
When was the last time that a missing “non-white” woman was reported as missing for more than a few minute segment? What kind of coverage would a story like this get if Ms. Williams was a “pretty white woman”? And whose family has lots of money?

I clicked over to the site and found that the titles promoted in the stores are not what come up when you look for African American Fiction on the website: there, the first titles that come up under African American Fiction & Literature are much more what you might expect.

When are people going to grow up? It is a very common practice for blacks to gang-up on one weak white subject, whether it’s 13 year old boy or a 100 year old great grandmother. It’s also common to gang rape white women. You never hear much about this, why? Because it’s not a hate crime when blacks victimize whites and unfortunately there are no white al sharptons or jesse jacksons out there. It is an unfortunate situation when when we have the whole black panthers, and al & jesse coming down on some white kids accused of rape by a crack addicted freak, when in fact the kids were completely innocent. I have heard no apology by the black community. They were quick to judge these kids, who had NO evidence linking them, then we hear the same bunch preach out about not convicting Michael Vick, who has a mountain of evidence against him. They should throw him in a pit and let the dogs have at him. If you want people to get along, stop blaming everyone but yourselves. Stop having 6 blacks on one white, stop gang-raping white women 8 to eighty, blind, crippled, or crazy. Stop asking 95 year-old men in Detroit for a light for a cigerette and then punching him while he’s sitting in his car obliging the request, stop beating up 90 year old women in elevators and stealing their purses… “Hate crimes” cut both ways, so if you really care, then start with your own first. Plenty of whites do not approve of they way the young lady was treated by that trailer trash, but that’s one case against a hundred in reverse. It’s time to get over the animosity towards whites because of what happened in the past. How long does it need to linger? Should Anglos still hold it against Italians because of the way Romans slaughtered and enslaved them for 600 years? Blacks should be angry at muslims for slaughtering them and enslaving them in Africa well before the Dutchies came along. What about that? What about the fact that it was white people who fought, bleed, and died to free blacks? How about that? EVERY race has undergone tragedy at the hands of other races. Thank God you are here, now in the States and no where else in the world. Thank God for allowing the pain and suffering of those before you to afford you the freedom you have now. Stop race-baiting! Accept the fact that NO MATTER WHAT, since the beginning of time there has been predudice and there will always be, even within a race. You cannot change others. People are STUPID! They will only change when the see a positive change that works. Be positive and don’t worry about other’s prejudice, that’s on them. They will have to answer for that. I could go on and on, but some don’t WANT to accept reality, they thrive on strife. That’s how they eak out a living, by stirring and creating controversy.
All of what you said below is true. But a black man raping or stealing an old ladies purse is not considered a hate crime. They just prey on innocent weak looking people. Thats what that is. Just being disturbed in the mind to attack or rape someone. But not a hate crime. What they did to that girl was far beyond. The fact is, is that they called her racial slurrs while doing it. Which,..um DUH made it a hate crime. Just beacause a white man rapes a black girl doesn’t make it a hate crime, and just because a black man rapes a white girl, doesn’t mean its a hate crime either. Its the intent of the individual who is committing the crime, whether its because they are just an overall “bad” person, or if they feel their race is superior and they need to take it out on another race. And Mike Vick? why would you wish something on someone? Do you consider yourself religious? Vick made some mistakes and he will pay for them. Are we treating dogs with more care then our own human kind? I am so sick of hearing people say “what should happen to Vick” and that hes such a bad person, oh my gosh move on, there are more important things out in this world, then to dwell on the fact that he “fought dogs”. I love dogs and I feel that Vick deserves to pay for what he “participated” in.. But Good lord. I dont see PETA going crazy over people who hunt deers and birds for a SPORT. People have animal heads on their walls, but people can walk around with a “I hate VICK shirt on”, and I see their kids with the shirts on too.. are we teachin our kids to hate? This world is crazy…and all need Jesus. We need to be careful who we judge. Should blacks be mad at muslims? Probably. But their RIGHTS were recently given to them.. within the last 50-60 years. That was NOT a long time ago!. The people who experienced those hard times of hate crimes, and unfair justice, are still alive. You can’t blame them for “not getting over it”. Again yes blacks should probably be mad at alot of different cultures for buying and selling them…but Whites have records of it, pictures of it, and to this day have KKK meetings that admire the way they were and should be treated. I feel bad for them. ALOT! Racism is something that won’t die, because we live in sin. The devil wants us to be racist towards eachother, and right now he is proud of his accomplishment. My conclusion to this is, Just because Black people stand up for eachother (which if they don’t who will?) don’t start pointing fingers and say.. well they did..and he did..and she did….If you feel that a case against a BLACK MAN who robbed an old lady..was NOT his greed for Money, but infact a hatecrime.. why don’t you stand up for your people and do what Jessie Jackson or AL’sharpton would do? You can’t blame the Black culture for stand behind eachother. ANd unless you know how it feels to be a bLACK PERSON..or a minority…then how can you pass judgment? You may not see the struggles, but there are plenty..for every minority race in this country. Blacks, whites, chinese, Hispanics, THEY ALL STAND up for eachother… What would a White person need with a “white” al sharpton? You have the damn President BUSH.. he’ll take care of yall..but as for the rest of us minorities, we are going to make sure that we are secure because we’ve been alot…
