I never thought I would see the day that justice would be truly served in Concordia Parish. These articles are thrilling and spellbinding. Although I was a young white girl in the 50's and 60's in Concordia Parish, I still remember that the air seemed filled with fear and the prospect of violence, especially in the 60's. I left as soon as I graduated from high school, and then became active in the civil rights movement.. Seeing such injustice at an early age has left a lasting impint and has informed the course of my life. Thank God for Stanley Nelson and the Cold Case Justice Initiative.
